Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Evenli — age policy, plans, child profiles, exports, court use, and what we are and aren't.

Who is allowed to use Evenli, and from what age?

You must be at least 16 to start a new Evenli account on Bridge or Link. A 13–15 year old may join an existing Evenli Link family group only with a parent's invite code, and only with parental consent. Under-13s cannot self-register; a Link parent can create a parent-controlled child profile for them, restricted to chat with the family group. Professional accounts (legal experts and professionals such as social workers) require you to be at least 18.

What is the difference between Evenli Bridge and Evenli Link?

Evenli Bridge (£192/year) covers two co-parents and is the right starting point for most separated families — calm AI-supported messaging, shared calendar, expense tracking and exportable records. Evenli Link (£288/year) is for higher-conflict situations or where legal/professional oversight is needed: it covers up to six family members on one subscription (so grandparents, new partners, step-parents and children with parent-controlled profiles can all be on the same family), and it unlocks parent-controlled child profiles and professional read-only access. Both plans include a 10-day free trial.

How do parent-controlled child profiles work on Evenli Link?

On the Link plan, the family subscriber can create a chat-only child profile for a child aged under 16. The child logs in with a handle and password set by you and only sees the family chat — never calendar, expenses, canvas or any settings. The child profile inherits your acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy, counts toward your six family member allowance, and can be disabled or have its password reset by you at any time.

Can I export everything Evenli holds about our family?

Yes. Adults aged 16+ can download a single combined PDF that includes chat history, canvas notes and shared documents, calendar entries and expense records — useful for mediation, court bundles or your own personal archive. You can also still download a JSON copy of the raw data, or PDFs for individual sections. Child profiles cannot trigger exports themselves; the parent on the account does that on their behalf.

Are Evenli records acceptable in family court proceedings?

Evenli is built with court use firmly in mind. Every message, handover and expense entry is timestamped and exportable to PDF, providing a clear, auditable record that families, legal professionals and courts can review. Evenli Link users can grant a solicitor or other legal professional read-only access to the family group, supporting preparation of court bundles or compliance with court-ordered disclosure. The weight and admissibility of any exported document is ultimately for the relevant court to determine, but Evenli's tamper-evident, dated records are designed to stand up to scrutiny.

Does Evenli replace legal or professional advice?

No. Evenli is a calm communication, scheduling and record-keeping tool — it is not a substitute for professional legal, mediation, social-care or medical advice. Documents and records you export from Evenli are your own copies of activity in the app; their admissibility and weight in any legal or regulatory process is for the relevant professional or court to determine. See our Document Disclaimer for the full statement.
